As we remember ...

As we remember last year's tragic events, it is more important than ever to support Breaking the Stigma of Mental Illness. Reflections of Hope needed always!

Always great to be with ...

Always great to be with other ethically-driven community leaders. Thank you, Pastor Bill, for sharing your inspiration and HUGE thanks to the Islamic Center for providing me a seat at your table.

What an absolutely fantastic way ...

What an absolutely fantastic way to start the day! A room filled with estate planning attorneys, financial planners and other caring members of our community, joined together in support of JAFCO, an incredible non-profit organization which provides services to abused and neglected children in our area. Please find out more at https://www.jafco.org/

So excited to have...

So excited to have the Higer Polani Law Firm recognized as the #1 Fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association: Southeast Florida Chapter Boca Walk.

No Place For Hate....

As this year ends, looking forward to supporting ADL's of West Palm Beach in 2019. Hate Anywhere is Hate Everywhere... #NoPlaceForHate

When you have....

When you have a "regular" child, you feel reasonably assured that class participation and decent study habits will result in good grades. These kids have close friends. They get invited to participate in social things, like dances and weekend gatherings. They make the teams, auditioned organizations and clubs.
However, when you have a child with certain differences, this is often not the case. Learning may take longer, both academically and socially. Despite their tremendous efforts, results are often a fraction of their peers and social acceptance is fleeting, setting them up for painful comparisons and bitter frustration.

Below is a video episode from the TV comedy sitcom, "Taxi," which starred Marilu Henner. We are so excited Marilu will be our speaker at the Alzheimer's Brain Bowl Luncheon on Friday, April 12, 2019. Tickets can be purchased at www.BrainBowlEvents.org.
This episode from Taxi is actually quite interesting. It is called "JIM'S INHERITANCE" and addresses multiple significant issues still prevalent in our community, including Estate Planning, Conservatorships, and Mental Illness.

To Those Who Serve, Thank You!

Veterans Day is our time to honor all who served our country and those who continue to do so. Thank You and Blessings to each and every Active Duty, retired military personnel, and your families for your sacrifices and dedication.
